The self-assessment tool is a significant achievement of the UST project. Developed in collaboration with the project team, this tool serves to assess a municipality’s readiness in sustainable tourism development and up-skilling opportunities. It was initially tested in project partner municipalities and is now available for broader use across Europe. To maximize its impact, the tool is best utilized in workshops involving not only municipal staff but all stakeholders interested in sustainable tourism strategies. Last but not least, this tool represents a commitment to fostering sustainable tourism practices and empowering municipalities towards a more sustainable future in tourism.
