The ecosystem is in your hands The tourism ecosystem is a complex and dynamic system that involves a wide range of actors, from visitors and hospitality businesses to local residents and community-based organizations. It is important to understand the whole tourism ecosystem and the different actors involved. At the heart of successful sustainability efforts is the municipality’s ability to actively engage and collaborate with these stakeholders over time. Once the stakeholders are identified, the next step is to create a platform for dialogue and collaboration in order for the partnership to have a shared view of the role of tourism.
